I'm sorry....

Sorry I have been such a slacker when it comes to blogging, life is crazy right now. We had a Dr. appointment today and everything is looking great with the little man. He is measuring 2 weeks bigger than his due date but the Dr. is going to keep is due date as July 9th for now. We still have not come up with a name but his nursery is coming along well, all we need now is a crib!

JJ and I spent last weekend in St. George and it was so wonderful. It was the annual Luv2Dance dance competition this week and I can't tell you how nice it was to sit back and enjoy instead of running a million miles an hour making sure my teams were ready to hit the floor. I really needed this break from teaching. I miss the girls but it is so nice to come home after work and not straight to dance.

JJ and I are still working on 106th south while living in Layton. Work is out of control trying to get ready for my maternity leave but I am starting to feel like i'm getting on top of it. I feel so fortunate to work for such great people. They are so good to me!!

My belly is growing!! I am almost 29 weeks now and I will post a picture soon I promise.

Hawaii!

Hawaii was such a blast! I hate being home and back to work :( for future reference 5 days is not long enough to spend in the most beautiful place on earth. The weather was kind of crappy but we made the most of it. Jake and Morgan were so fun to travel with and I wish we were still there. We rented a 4-door jeep and had a blast driving around with the top down even in the rain.

JJ's sister Emily lives in Hawaii, it was so nice to see her and hang out with her for a few days. She showed us all the hot spots that not many people know about. She took us to some amazing places to go snorkeling and took us to beautiful beaches. We were even able to swim with a family of turtles WOW that was so much fun. Emily's awesome boyfriend Bobby was able to get us into one of his luaus also, he was amazing and his fire knife show. I should have taken more pictures but it was so amazing I couldn't look away long enough to get a good shot, sorry. Thanks Emily and Bobby for everything!!

Here is us with our cute rental car. JJ's thinks he needs one now :) I'm just fine with that!

This place had the best burger I have ever had!! We listened to live music and after JJ, Emily, and myself went to the famous Warren and Anabell's Magic Show! It was hilarious and I am still dumbfounded with some of the tricks Warren showed us. He pulled JJ out of the croud and asked for the $100.00 bill in his wallet (how he knew he had a 100 bill I will never know) Then he burned it right in front of us while a girl wrote down the serial number. At the end of the show he cut a lemon in half and pulled out JJ's 100 bill with the exact serial number :) hahaha who knows?
This is Warren and us with our $100 bill. I know we are in Hawaii and sweatshirts are not allowed but it was FREEZING in the auditorium and Warren made sure to make fun of the people from Utah who hit the slopes before coming into the show.

Emily and Bobby took us to this amazing beach! It rained most of the time but the rain cant stop us from having fun!!

Emily talked to one of her buddies and got us on this awesome sail boat to do some whale watching. The Whales were amazing but the boat ride was not so hot. The little guy in the belly hated the experience and made sure to let me know. While I was hanging over the boat everyone else got a show from me and the whales. For those of you who know JJ you know he does not handle stuff like that well :) I just wanted to thank my cute husband for all of his support during this pregnancy, he has been so understanding and tried to keep the dry heaving to a minimum :)

Here are some more fun pictures from our trip. That was a great babymoon before the little guy gets here!

No Place Like Idaho!!!

This year for Valentines day we decided to head to Idaho to see our great friends the Lugos. We had so much fun!! On Friday night we went into Twin Falls and had a yummy dinner were they cook in front of you, I LOVE THAT! Then on Valentines Day Jason made his famous tri-tip and crab legs. JJ and Johanna Stagge also came over for dinner. It was so yummy and we had such a blast playing cards and hanging out around the dinner table. I always feel recharged after spending time in Idaho. Jason and Lori have such a positive outlook on life and I love spending the weekend laughing and enjoying time together. My stomach muscles are so sore from laughing so hard. Here are a few pics from our trip.

JJ and Jason cleaning the kitchen after dinner. Now if only I could get JJ to do this at home :)

Jason and Lori!!!!! I love them! Jason also taught me this weekend how to make his FAMOUS MEXICAN SOUP! This is the one this I have craved while being prego. It is soooo yummy. Thanks for the lesson Jas.

Me and my sthweetie!!

I love this picture. I dont remember what Lori said to JJ but they ended up going head first over the couch. I'm so glad I had my camera :)

I have had a number of people request a pic of my prego belly. I did not want to do this but the Jage made me. Here I am at 19 weeks looking fatter then ever! I can finally feel my little guy kick and it is the most amazing feeling in the world. I cant wait till JJ can feel him.

We have a number of things coming up that i'm sure will merit some good posts. We are headed to St. George this weekend for the Home Show! We have gone the last 2 years and have decided to make it a tradition for the two of us. The homes down there are amazing and we have such a blast dreaming of the future. Also, we decided to head to Hawaii the following week for our last HARRRA before the kid comes. I CANT WAIT!! I am so excited to get out of this freaking cold weather! Jake and Morgan called us on V-day and asked if we wanted to go with them. After about 2 seconds of thought of course our answer was yes. Morgan found an awesome deal on a condo so two weeks from today I will be under the hawaiian sun!!!!

I also wanted to thank everyone for the congrats on having a boy. It is so nerve racking after all the crap we have gone through to get this little guy that I havent really allowed my self to get excited. BUT I CANT HOLD IT IN ANY MORE!!! WE ARE SO EXCITED!!! After our little scare last week with prelabor contractions our Dr. assured us everything is looking great :) We go in on Friday for our big ultrasound at the hospital. I will be sure to post pics of the little one.

Its a......

For those of you who don't know, JJ and I are having a.....BOY!!!!!!  We are so excited and can't wait for the exciting months ahead of us.  We are struggling with a name but hopefully we can come to an agreement before the little guy gets here.  Let me know what you think, here are the two names we have so far.

Fisher
Ryker

As far as life goes, JJ and I are still working on 106th south and still hating the commute.  If you know anyone that is interested in a condo ours is FOR SALE!!  I will post pictures soon.  I just started a photography class on Thursday nights and I am loving it so far.  JJ is such an amazing photographer it is kind of intimidating but I'm excited to learn and play with my new camera, practice makes perfect!  Here are some pictures I took this week for my assignment.  It was also my first time editing with Photoshop....Yikes!!  Its going to take a lot of time and patience but I can't wait to learn more.

December is over :(

I love Christmas and December soo much and I am always so sad when it is over. Sorry I know this post is super late but life has been crazy! This year JJ and I had such a great Holiday here are some of the events that took place.

First - We had Payton's 5th Birthday. I can't believe how big she is getting. We had cake and opened presents and had a blast.

Then we went sledding and Soldier Hollow for the Shaw Christmas Party. What a blast that was. I love the snow except for when my toes get cold which seems like every time I go out in the cold. We decided to stay in a condo in Midway after sledding and I've decided that is my favorite place. It is so beautiful up there and it was a great get away!

Every year we have a Christmas Eve party and the Shaw's. We always have a yummy dinner and then we open our gifts. I love this party every year and am so thankful for great in-laws.

JJ and I spend Christmas morning with just the two of us and I LOVE THAT! Its so nice to celebrate together. This year I was so spoiled with all kinds of fun stuff, thanks babe! Here is my tree also, I love the smell of a fresh cut tree in my house.

This year my parents took us to see the elk up at Harware Ranch and then treated us to a yummy dinner at Maddox :) JJ had to miss out on this even due to work :(

We also went to a million Christmas Parties but I dont have pictures. Now that Christmas is over I'm excited to welcome the new year. Lots of things are happening in our lives and i'm excited for each and every one: new baby, hopefully our house sells and we will have a new house, work, play and all sorts of fun stuff.

Christmas Gift!!

I can't believe Christmas has come and gone. So much has happened this month and I promise I will post all about it ASAP!

Given my track record (2 Miscarriages) JJ and I have waited forever to tell people we are expecting!!!!! I thought Christmas would be a perfect time!!!! Well I am almost 13 weeks along and we both are so excited we can hardly stand it! So far this pregnancy has had no complications aside from the fact that I am loosing weight instead of gaining because I have been so sick :( Hopefully this one works out and in July we will have a little Shaw! I love you all and hope you had a great Christmas.

What a Great Weekend!!

We had such a blast this year at the cabin for Thanksgiving. Aside from being sick most the time I would call this years Thanksgiving a success! JJ and I brought up my parents camper trailer to sleep in because it can get a little crazy in the cabin at bed time. IT WAS SO WORTH IT!! Lindsey and Cody came up with their three beautiful kids and it was so nice to have a quiet place to go to sleep. THANKS MOM AND DAD!! Every year we go cut Christmas Trees the day after Thanksgiving, a tradition I love!! I love the smell of a fresh Christmas Tree in my house, I can't believe it is already that time of year again. JJ and I were setting up our tree last night and can't believe this will be our fourth Christmas together being married CRAZY!! I love setting up for Christmas, I dont think I will ever grow up when is comes to this time of year. I will post pics of my tree later. Here are some pics from our great weekend at the cabin.
